Chili Recipe

Brown and drain 2-20oz package of ground turkey. Throw in large pot. Drain and add 2-29oz cans pinto beans. Blend and add 1-Jar Hot Garden Mix and 1/2 of a jar of sweet cherry peppers. Or any kind of pickled peppers you can find. The key is the pickle juice. Add a two cups water. Add 2-table spoons of sweet BBQ sauce. Serve it up hot with some Louisiana Hot Sauce.

Chas came by yesterday and we watched some football and feasted on some fine grub. We started with an Iceberg and Cabbage salad, followed by Chicken w/ BBQ Beans. Mmmm.


As far as the football goes, I missed on both of my picks. I had Atlanta who looked flat and underachieving against a red hot Giants team. And I had Pittsburg, who looked ok, but came up short against a fantastic Tim Tebow. Who'd a thunk it?

When I first got my Android Tablet I couldn't put the thing down. I guess now I understand what it's like to have a smart phone. You see the people all the time. On the bus. On a street corner, peering down into their device, seemingly oblivious to the world around them. I never really understood it till I got my Android. Now, when I'm at the crib, the device sits next to me, ready for my next query into cyberspace.


Life inside of the machine. Kind of feel that way from time to time. Contact with the outside world solely thru Facebook, sure, what the fuck is wrong with that? ( Don't answer. ) All of my creativity funneled thru YouTube, fucking A right. Costs less than painting, right? My hands never leave the keyboard while I'm at work. More and more it feels like I live in there, inside of the computer.


Tron explored the concept as a total immersion scenario. Can't say how many Cyberpunk stories have looked at the same thing. The reality is, it's no longer fiction. We live inside the machine on a day to day basis. For better or worse, that is our new reality.
