The Price of Gas


Prices Fall by 25 Cents in Chicago Area maybe you've noticed the good news: Gas prices have gone down. In the Chicago suburbs, you can find gas for under $4 a gallon. Prices have gone down 25 cents for the first time since October. At the MinuteMan Convenience Center inGas  Riverside, there's an additional discount if you pay in cash. The cash price for a gallon of regular there is $3.93. Chicago gas prices are still some of the highest in the country, with the average about $4.01.  Analysts say the price is expected to continue to go down, but it will not fall below $3 per gallon.Typically, prices rise in the summer.
