I've finally figured out Twitter. Like it's that hard.But you know alot of people have no idea what it's about. So here it is. I use it on my computer. Not on a phone. I follow various news outlets, artists & celebrities. I figure out who to follow by looking at who everybody else follows. Twitter post lead me to cool stuff I might other wise not see. And breaking news gets to me pretty fast on Twitter. Yeah so I'm now a Tweeting Twitter maniac. I'm getting ready for the superbowl. Chicken is in the oven. Pizza has been defrosted. Wine is chilled. Patrick says I've gotta see the Morbid Curiosity show at the Chicago Cultural Center. The show features objects from the 1500 item collection of Robert Harris. The collection consists of things releated to Death and Mortality. This sounds like it is right up my alley. I've got some vacation days I'm taking this week. I'm going to check this one out. The Chicago Cultural Center is right across from the Ice Rink at Millenium park. I'm gonna bring my skates. I could use the exercise. Today the Police in DC have started to clear the DC Occupy site. The G8 Nato summit is coming to Chicago in May. Rather than moving down to McCormick place where the summits are being held. The Chicago Police might like the Chicago Occupiers stay put. I think I'll visit Occupy Chicago when I'm downtown. I'll ask the occupiers what they think is going to happen. Went to the store today and picked up supllies for the Big Game. I'm cooking up Chicken in a Pan and Pizza. I also picked up a few bottles of wine to wash it all down. I hope you all enjoy the game. I know I will. And you can follow me on twitter @VlogMoskow.

Punxsatawney Pete saw his shadow. We've got six more weeks of winter. This year six weeks of this winter is like six weeks of spring. This morning driving to work I saw a guy on the with shorts on. Me I'm going with the Patriots. I'm doing up a pizza for the game. So I heat the oven. Thaw the pizza in the micro wave. Heat up my frying pan on the range. Throw in a little olive oil. And a little sea salt. I put thawed pizza in the hot pan and into the oven. Mmm  - I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

New Video Camera and New Editing software

 

Not only can you laugh at adversity, but it is essential to do so if you are to deal with setbacks without defeat - Allen Klein.

Last night I finally posted a new video. It seems like ages since I posted a new one. As you know I bought a new Canon Vixia Camera. and I upgraded my editing software to Adobe Premiere. With all of the new gear I had a few technical setbacks. When I got the new Canon Vixia camera I installed the camera software on my computer. I shot some video and tried to import the video and nothing. Couldn't see any of the video files. After alot of monkeying around I found that i have to turn on file sharing with a switch on the side of the camera. I shot some more video on the new camera imported it into Premiere & nothing. I couldn't hear a word. Turns out the mike I used with my Zi8, doesn't work with the Vixia.  After some tests I figure out that the senhizer mike that wouldn't work with the Zi8 works with the canon vixia. So now my New Canon Vixia camera is working. My senhizer mike is working. and I've upgraded to Adobe Premiere. Life is good.

Chili Recipe

Brown and drain 2-20oz package of ground turkey. Throw in large pot. Drain and add 2-29oz cans pinto beans. Blend and add 1-Jar Hot Garden Mix and 1/2 of a jar of sweet cherry peppers. Or any kind of pickled peppers you can find. The key is the pickle juice. Add a two cups water. Add 2-table spoons of sweet BBQ sauce. Serve it up hot with some Louisiana Hot Sauce.

Chas came by yesterday and we watched some football and feasted on some fine grub. We started with an Iceberg and Cabbage salad, followed by Chicken w/ BBQ Beans. Mmmm.


As far as the football goes, I missed on both of my picks. I had Atlanta who looked flat and underachieving against a red hot Giants team. And I had Pittsburg, who looked ok, but came up short against a fantastic Tim Tebow. Who'd a thunk it?

When I first got my Android Tablet I couldn't put the thing down. I guess now I understand what it's like to have a smart phone. You see the people all the time. On the bus. On a street corner, peering down into their device, seemingly oblivious to the world around them. I never really understood it till I got my Android. Now, when I'm at the crib, the device sits next to me, ready for my next query into cyberspace.


Life inside of the machine. Kind of feel that way from time to time. Contact with the outside world solely thru Facebook, sure, what the fuck is wrong with that? ( Don't answer. ) All of my creativity funneled thru YouTube, fucking A right. Costs less than painting, right? My hands never leave the keyboard while I'm at work. More and more it feels like I live in there, inside of the computer.


Tron explored the concept as a total immersion scenario. Can't say how many Cyberpunk stories have looked at the same thing. The reality is, it's no longer fiction. We live inside the machine on a day to day basis. For better or worse, that is our new reality.
